On July 1st 2017 we celebrated the end of a nice and productive academic year 2016-2017. It was a nice day with lots of good food and drinks, and good company. As happens at the end of the year, some of us left for greener pastures. Bert Jans decided to take a break from academia (and now works for a consultancy company). Julia Lifanov is now a PhD candidate in the lab of Maria Wimber at University of Birmingham, UK. Several group members left to take on Master’s studies (e.g., Amy Abelmann, Tracy van der Veen, and others). To everybody who left: the best of luck; and to those who stay: Let’s look forward to yet another exciting year!
